Hey there!!! finally...i turned 20 on the 8th of August. Cant believe that i have my teenage years are over and now turning into the adult world. Honestly i dont feel like i m 20years old (hahahaha...forever young at heart)...! Well another year wiser thats what they say. I had a blast on my birthday. I was just thinking to have dinner with my friends, since my birthday fall on a weekday we couldnt do much as most of us have class the next day. According to one of my friend..the plan was to have a small dinner on my birthday and then probably do something during the weekends as in the "real" celebration. The day before my birthday, me and one of my friend Trish went to look at a few restaurant along Rundell St in the city centre. Looking for one reasonable restaurant, so finally i choosed "Cafe Buongiorno" and Italian Restaurant and Cafe. The restaurant is quite big and thinking that it wouldnt be full during the weekdays i decided not to book but to be on the safe side..never make assumptions just book a place for urself. Deciding where and what to eat is a big big headache. On my birthday, me and 4 of my friends headed to the restaurant first around 6.00pm. As soon as i got there..the restaurant was quite packed and just as well someone was celebrating their birthday too!!! First thing that caught my eyes was a long table with balloons..LOL!! Got distracted for one second. Luckily there was 3 empty tables next to the entrance and we were able to joined the tables for 10 seaters. LOL. Phew* Me and my friend studied the menu and decide what to order while waiting for the rest to come. Dinner was served within 20minutes and finished within 15minutes. I guess everyone was hungry! After dinner we continued with our "snapping pictures" business and suddenly out of the blue from behind my friend surprised me with a birthday cake with a sparkling candle on top!! ohhhh myyyyy...i was overwhelmed..that i couldnt even control my facial expression when i took pictures with my friends. It was awesome.

After all that, since it was still early..everyone decided to go somewhere and play with the rest of the sparkling candles. My friend bought 2 boxes of it! We went to a small park next to Adelaide Uni. Haha it was fun playing with the candles..reminds you of childhood time. Within 5minutes we finished. How nice if the candle could sparkle forever..LOL..or 15minutes would be good enough. Had a good chat with my friends from Hong Kong, specially those whom i hardly or never spoke to..LOL. A good way to improve my cantonese. We decided to go somewhere to have a drink. Went to a cafe called "Chocolate Bean" which serves lots of chocolate drink. The cafe is quite small which could accomodate a maximum of 30 people. Looking through the menu you can get, Chocolate tea, Chocolate soup, Hot Mocha, Hot chocolate, ice chocolate..and etc..all of different flavours. I had Hot Mocha Orange. LOL. Pretty good!! Besides all the surprises i had in Adelaide, i received a big surprise from my KK friends too! HAHA! Thanks to Vengli and Michael, Pan,Kel,Simon,David for the call all the way from home. and not to forget the lovely E-card made by my sista Aiming ;) --It was a blast-- so the plan on weekend for celebrating my birthday "again" is to go clubbing..and i went yesterday. This time we went to a different club called HQ, which apparently is popular and bigger than the previous club i went to. We went to the RnB section and we had to pay an entrance fee of $5 for girls and $10 for boys..weird. Apparently it was "Miami Night" last night so the music wasnt as good as the previous club i went to..listening to the same beat most of the time. Haha..and there were lots of Aussie people too! Could hardly see any asians..one or two maybe besides us. As a matter of fact i think we were the youngest group there..maybe there are same age as us but its hard to tell cuz most of the looked matured eventhough they are only 18. It was another good experience...but i had an unpleasant feeling when i was in that club, most of the ladies there look like sluts. =/ We decided to head to another place, since the music was starting to give us more disappointment. So we went to a pub, cant remember the name..which is just down the street. The pub is quite small and DARK. It was okay at first but after a while the unpleasant feeling came again. One of the local aussie girl came talking to us while dancing, asked where are we from..bla..bla..everyone seem so friendly, smiling...dancing..till one of my friend told me that everyone there (those dancing) were smoking weed!!!! oh my...no wonder..they were all high and we were the only asians again. It was quite creepy and since it was very late and everyone is exhausted we decided to head home....(3am in the morning)....never would i ever go back to that pub! Overall i had a great time with my friends. Had a good time cooking, doing facial and makeup with two of my friends Trish and Ruth who stayed overnight at my place! Haha, what an experience.
Before clubbing:
