Quick update....
currently at bro's place in Mt Gambier, limestone city...freezing cold down here, colder than Geelong by 1 or 2 deg. Staying here for 5 days only, sigh..wish i could stay longer..but unbelievably uni is gonna start next week! Yikes..and im still on holiday mood. Results was released yesterday, quite satisfied with it..HD for chinese language haha and Ds for the rest..thanked God!
Hmm..at least i get Monday and Friday offs this semester..so pretty much a long weekend! Yeepee! Its gonna be another 12 week straight of uni, then exams..no study breaks..and then 2 weeks placement..doing rural this time!
This holiday has been quite enjoyable, tho there were couple of boring moments. Skiing would be an unforgettable one..i swear..if u wanna try skiing, u gotta be extra fit cuz it uses alot of ur arm and leg muscles...the ski equipment and boots itself is pretty heavy! It would be easier if u have tried ice skating or roller bladding before..the method is applicable in skiing! I wouldnt forget breaking the trainer's pole...............ah embarrasing but it was unavoidable at the same time..couldnt control myself to stop when i skied from the top..and bang..i was clinging onto the trainer's legs LOL next min..i saw his pole bended..and he broke it himself. Oh another thing, if u feel like u r gonna fall off, dont even try to stop urself frm falling..just fall down naturally, much better on the bum. Getting up frm falling down is another challenge. One way to get up is to place ur body in a squating position..and use ur thigh/leg muscles to lift ur body up..as in stand up. OMG..i couldnt do it. Easiest way, release one of ur boots frm the ski board.
Would love to go skiing again, but hopefully more fitter next time!
Better head off to bed...im hopping for a sunny weather tomorrow, wanna do some sight seeing of Mt Gambier..but the weather forecast said its gonna rain. Rain rain go away, come again another day!
