♥ back.

1st November

My flight to Kuching was at 9.30pm. Arrived the terminal 2 airport around 7.40pm. There were so many cars and the traffic was moving slow due to the construction (exteding the terminal 2 airport). Because of the construction work, the airport was in a big mess. They made a temporary entrance for dropping and picking up passengers, as i walk through the temporary walkway, right at the corner was a cafe and some food stalls and on the left side was where we check-in. Oh my goodness, the airport was so packed! The queue was long and still there were many people who just arrived frm another place. (this part of the scence makes me feel like i m in India..dusty and packed with people! )
Luckily there wasnt any flight delays. We boarded the flight on time . The food sold in the airplane is double the price compared to those sold in the supermarket. LOL..one box of milo for RM4?? Noodle cup for RM5?? No thanks.
Overall the flight to Kch was smooth and comfortable.
Arrived Kuching airport around 10.40pm, me and my mom stayed over at my cousin's hse.

2nd November

Meet up with my 3rd auntie. Had Laksa and teh si peng for breakfast Oh and not to forget i tried something new which is impossible to find in KK.."Lok Teau San"..a kind of delicacy made out of yellow coloured beans in syrup which is eaten with "yeau cha kueh"..Mmmm..sedap.
After breakfast my 3rd auntie drove us down to Bau town..my mom's birth place. Bau town is forever the same, busy in the morning and quiet at nite.Well not that quiet actually, at nite all the youngsters will come out for a drink and u could hear speeding motorbikes along the road (my grandma shop is rite in the middle of the town, the road is in between two row of shops) and cars modified with big exhaust pipe..u could imagine how it sounds like when they accelerate..the noise just pierce into your ears.
whenever they do that i feel like yelling at them..gahhh those Mat Rempits. In the morning i m easily woken up by the noise, the best alarm clock that could wake me up!
Glad to see grandma, cousins and aunt.
In the afternoon mom and i went over to visit my 2nd uncle who is suffering frm cancer. Quite amazed to see him alert although he lost weight compared to the last time i saw him.

3rd November

Spent the entire morning helping my cousin to look after the shop at the same time we played BINGO..haha trying to kill our boredom off.
Ate kolo mee for lunch and at around 4.00pm my cousin drove me and my mom to Kuching. Meet up with my dad. It was an unexpected plan, since my dad had a meeting in KL , he thought of changing his return ticket to Kuching instead of flying back to kk. So he could spend the weekend in Kuching.
Had dinner in Jln Song..a newly opened place, one of the hot spot in kuching. Lots of newly opened coffee shops, boutiques, and not to forget at night the place is like "Pasar Malam" where u can see lots of people selling food and pirated CDs!!! DVD cds for RM3..u can find all sorts of korean series, taiwan..etc. One whole stretch of stalls selling piles of pirated CDs..surprisingly the police didnt bother to catch them.

4th November

Woke up around 6.30am. Looks like the haze is back, the weather was gloomy. Went to climb mount Singai (a pilgrimage centre)..a good morning exercise and also a quiet place for me to spend time with God. later in the afternoon i was starting to get bored. Me and my cousin decided to resume our BINGO game..ahahaha..and suddenly my favourite cousin Caroline (wahaha i have lots of cousin ay) came in surprise all the way frm Kuching.
Decided to stay overnight at her house. At night we went to have dinner in a classy restaurant called "Bla..bla..bla" (wonder why the owner name it Bla..bla..bla). The restaurant is actually an old shop situated somewhere in the middle of the city called Padungan i think, the interior design is awesome. what u see outside is so different than what u see inside the restaurant. As u enter the restaurant, u can see a very unique walkway..instead of just a flat smooth pavement..they made it into something like a pond..with blocks of square stones that u could step to cross over to the other side of the restaurant. There is koi fish in the pond..very unique and risky at the same time, cuz its quite dim inside so i was just so scared that i would trip off and fall into the pond. Was looking downwards all the time to make sure i dont miss a step.I guess those waitress have to be extra carefull when they walk through this pavement. Haha, me and my cousin sat upstairs as it was packed downstairs. There was this group of girls i think around my age, all 6 of them has different and weird sense of fashion, me and my cousin was making comments..hahaha..one girl wore a really really short denim pants with a long sleve blouse! Long and short? what a weird combo. Another wore a furry jacket..in this kind of climate! Another girl wore..a white tube dress..Mmm..looks more like a wedding gown to me..or its probably her prom dress. Ahahaha..fashion these days are getting more n more wild. Dinner was good. There were other cafes, pubs and restaurant along the street..abit like Bintang Walk.
Had a great time. After dinner my cousin drove me to a place called "Travilon"..another newly opened place, somewhat like damai..very happening place, a hot spot for youngsters.

5th November

The haze got worse even worse than KK, my eyes and nose were itchy. Caroline brought me and my nephew and niece to the "Sarawak Club" which was burnt down few months ago...and the remaining was the car park. Now they have transform the top bit of the carpark into a recreation centre, There is the Gym centre, library and a cafe.
I accompanied my nephew and niece to the library to return their books.
Meet up with mom later in the evening. Had dinner in Jln Song again but this time in another coffee shop. my cousin recommended me to try the 5 layer teh si peng! hahah new version of teh si peng...5 layers instead of 3.
Went back to Bau at night.

6th November

Did nothing much. Me and my mom followed my 2nd uncle down to Kuching for his reflexiology theraphy.

7th November

Spend my entire day helping out my cousin with the shop. Walk around Bau town with mom, mom surely knows most of the people in town, whenever i passed by a shop, people will great my mom.."eh since when u came back?".."oh this is ur daughter".."wah grown up ady oh"...*grins*

8th November

My last day in sarawak..my flight was around 7.30pm. Packed up my things in the morning. Later in the afternoon, played BINGO with my cousin again..gahhh..luck wasnt with me that day, kept lossing each game..we were so bored of BINGO so we decided to play, the aeroplane game instead...and old game. felt like we were kids again. wuahahaha...i still lose. T_T
Luckily there were no flight delays..arrived kk 9.00pm.
Had lots of fun Kuching and Bau, but still i feel it wasnt enough....humans can never feel satisfied huh?...Regret that i didnt took lots pics with my relatives..=(
Staying in Bau makes ur mind stay away frm all the anxiety back home..guess holidays are suppose to be that way. Oh well, all good things have to come to an end.
its back to square one.

p/s: will upload some pics in the next post. Dunno why i cant upload it in this post.
